I wanted to take this testimonial video for Maika after having worked with her for almost a year. I am very excited to have completed the Intentional Business Building coaching program two times and have signed up for a third.
So I think, that's a very good recommendation for her whole process, in and of itself.
I also wanted to talk about my experience. I was very excited to get to work with Maika after following her on Instagram and seeing some of her videos about her work and what she does. I was thrilled to be a part of the actual process within the program.
The things that I learned the most, I would say, are how to use a lot of new tools and systems, which have been indispensable not only in creating and running my business- a small children's library in Istanbul, but also in terms of shifting around the way that I run my whole personal life and my household as well.
The program itself didn't just support building my business but also supported growing into my own as a business owner and a female entrepreneur, also trying to take care of a big family.
So, for example, using Trello to organize things, keeping things straight with Google Drive, and learning how to create my own website and ads on Canva for my business- The whole process has been not only educational but super fun at the same time.
So, those are the biggest things that I learned when it comes to tangible skills.
Then there was this whole like background side of it, which was important for me because it helped me to develop, not only as a business owner and also grow into the notion of being able to be an entrepreneur, but it also really helped me to grow into the notion of being someone who has ideas and who can turn them into concrete plans and then turn those concrete plans into actual completed projects.
I've always had lots of ideas. I've always been a super creative person, but getting those ideas into plans and projects was something that I always struggled with.
So this was the biggest thing, and it going through this process and learning how to do this, and having Maika coach me step by step along the way. Really helped me to grow into a lot of confidence in that respect.
Because I think one of the things that we oftentimes face is that we have an idea, but we can't get to the end result.
And so every time that happens, it, unfortunately starts to make us not want to develop the ideas in the same way or maybe not even give the ideas the same importance that we might in another setting.
Now, as opposed to being like, “Oh, that's a silly idea”, or “I can't do that”, I have the exact opposite idea, like, the opposite mindset of, “okay, so here's the idea, and how do I make it happen in a reasonable way that's not going to get frustrating for me or the people around me?”.
That's been the real underlying takeaway, not to mention the fact that my business has grown so much that we outgrew the space that we had rented within six months. So now we are moving to a bigger space.
Our entire community is super excited about our move, and that is a huge accomplishment that I never thought would be possible.
Finally, one of the things I also wanted to talk about is what my favorite part of working with Maika was.
At the end of every call, Maika wraps up the call by asking what value or feeling you would take away from the coaching call. And that has been a wonderful way to recenter the whole call, because there's lots of things that go on in the call.
There are lots of practical things, and then there are lots of ideas and ideation and creation. And so, to come back to how I feel and what value I now have after having gone through the process with Maika has been interesting.
It helped me to figure out what it is that I am searching for within this whole process and also to create a situation where Maika can continue to guide me, just as I need her to.
I recommend her course to anybody who wants to take it. I've taken it twice, and I'm going to do it again because I believe that Maika holds this deep, deep, deep wealth of knowledge when it comes to how to coach a person to grow their ideas when it comes to how to run a brick and mortar business when it comes to how to run a digital business.
And I believe that she is a very feeling and insightful person who is committed to supporting her clients and helping them through thick and thin with all of the ups and downs and, you know, question marks that pop up when you're trying to create a business and to get a business project plan off the ground.
I highly recommend her to any of my friends, and I've already had friends who have signed up with her, too, which is exciting. And I look forward to my next time with Maika, and I'm excited to see what the next six months will hold. So thank you for that, Maika; I appreciate it.
