Why did you choose Websites Demystified course?
I had been trying to launch my website for quite some time. I was stuck with a one-page website made with GoDaddy for 6 months. I was disappointed to see that there were so few design choices and ways to make it personal.
I also didn't know what to do or where to start to prepare my content.
What are some of the hesitations you had before choosing this website design course?
I wasn’t sure if I would be able to bring the content together. I had too many ideas in my mind so it seemed like a huge work to me. Working in an organized way with small action steps changed my perspective and made it easy for me.
What did you like most about Websites Demystified workshop?
It was great to have those online sessions with Maika and the timeline was very clear. Although we had so much to do, doing them step by step according to the timeline given really helped me. Maika’s support during all of the process was amazing too.
What was your biggest takeaway from this website building training?
I gained confidence about finishing large projects because I see that if you progress in an organized way and break the actions into parts, then it’s easier.
What would have improved your experience?
Honestly, I can't think of anything. I am fully satisfied with the workshop and Maika’s support.
Would you have preferred a complete one-on-one experience?
I generally prefer one-on-one courses but this time, I really enjoyed being in a group setting because the different questions contributed to each other’s websites.
Also, Maika gave some space to ask my individual questions and answer them patiently, supporting us not only as a group but also individually.
