"Deciding to build my business around my values has meant that maybe my progress has been slower for 2023, but it's definitely been full of a lot more meaning, and it's made me happy and fulfilled." Becky Hunter Kelm

I’m not here saying everyone should go volunteer in the earthquake zone. Not everybody should, and not everybody can. I just think what’s important is slowing down and digging into who you were made to  be and the values that you have.

Conclusion

I was deeply inspired by Becky’s courage and message as a citizen of the world, mother, and business owner. To me, she’s the embodiment of a true leader; living her values and walking the talk despite fear and worries.

Her story reminds us to foster and protect our communities by taking concrete actions, treating others well, and seeking opportunities to make a positive impact through our business endeavors.

Becky's exploration of resilience reminds us of the importance of nurturing our ability to bounce back from challenges. From understanding our values to practicing breathing techniques, we can cultivate resilience in both our personal and professional lives.

“Resilience is something we have to nurture; it’s being able to bounce back from crises and stress, in a healthy way.”
— Becky Hunter Kelm
I think this experience taught me and just reinforced, that we are whole beings and our businesses and our work are important elements of who we are, but it’s not just that. It’s just one part of who we are.
— Becky Hunter Kelm
